I stayed at this hotel recently and while the breakfast was good, my overall experience was disappointing
-especially when it came to housekeeping and staff communication. We rented two rooms, and neither was cleaned on the first day. When I asked the front desk, I was told we had to request housekeeping in order for the rooms to be cleaned-something that was never communicated at check-in.
After notifying the front desk, I was again told I needed to make a request. I spoke with the manager, who assured me the rooms would be cleaned. On the second day, towels were replaced but the beds weren't made and the bathrooms weren't cleaned. When I followed up again that evening, the front desk staff told me I had to specifically request that the beds be made-which is absurd.
This happened in both rooms we rented. Upon check-out, I spoke with the manager again, who contradicted what the night staff had told me and claimed that such specific requests weren't required. He also wasn't apologetic at all for the repeated inconvenience and miscommunication.
Overall, I was highly disappointed with the service and the lack of accountability from staff. A comfortable stay is about more than just a good breakfast, and unfortunately, the lack of basic housekeeping and poor staff communication really ruined the experience.
