There was a hole in my bathroom wall, the bed had two sheets. Tv did not work. Whole place smelled like smoke. There clearly were rooms being lived out of that were deplorable not far from the place I was put in for the weekend. Never again.

My stay was absolutely horrific because first of all I booked through Expedia and when I arrived, I was in the area that wasn’t the greatest by far and the desk clerk cannot find my reservation. I showed her the reservation number on my phone and she couldn’t do anything. I asked her if she could get me into a room as it was late and I didn’t really even know where I was and she said yes, when all of a sudden a bunch of people busted through the door and was yelling that there was a fight, and before I knew it, she and they were leaving the lobby with me standing there and cop Cars were pulling up everywhere so I Did not stay there and I won’t stay there in the future

Horrible smoking and weed odor
Even though I told the check in personnel that I want a non smoking room. They just gave me a smoking room. It smell like weed and smoke. Its odors stay in my hair and clothes. I not ever use Hotels.com to book anything again

The room wasnpaid for by my grandmother via expedia. She is on vacation and doesnt know how to do much on the internet. I was told That I would only need an I d because the room was Already booked through Expedia, which I learned from another motel in order to get checked into a room you have to order do it through a third party site so they can check you in without that card. Well, that was not the case in this situation I was ready to go. She was hanging with me my key as I was walking away. She simply said oh, and I need to see the card. And I had it on my phone because I virtually use it to purchase things on the internet when she needs me to purchase them. And She told me I could not stay. Because my name did not match the name on the card. So not only do we get charged for my stay. I did not get to stay there

You can't make this stuff up!!!
I reserved our room ahead if time, we get their to check in and i sent my husband in with my id and email verification on my phone after explaining to her that i was handicapped, she still wanted to see me in person, which was fine. I booked a room with 2 beds, NON SMOKING, and accessible! She sends us down the "breeze way" said u could get to the room that way, I was on a Walker and there were steps! I go back to the car and we drive around we get to the room, it has 1 Bed, and it smelled like an ASHTRAY!! My husband went back to the office, and she says thet only have 2 beds in rooms upstairs only and proceeds to give him an almost empty can of febreze air freshner for the smell!!! The next morning he talks to another lady at the desk, and explains there situation and she moves us upstairs to a double bed, non smoking room. I had to climb 7 steps but my son and husband helped me and thankfully I brought my own toilet seat riser, so I could get off the toilet. My son and his family come over to see us and bring our new granddaughter to meet up. We get a knick on the door and they're there saying they are changing the locks, would it be ok? My husband says yes, we didn't know they were gonna start grinding on the door amd shooting FIERY SPARKS all over the room. My grandbabies were scared and we had to hurry and throw a blanket over my daughter in law breastfeeding my granddaughter to keep the sparks from landing in them. I can't make this crap up!!! Worst experience EVER!

Low Quality Stay
We had two queen beds, one bed had hairs under the sheets. There were stink bugs flying around in the room. The lobby and room smelled like marijuana. There was a drug addict laid out on the side walk were our room was and people walking around in their bathrobs. Around midnight there was a dog barking loudly outside near our room. No blow dryer, TV did not work. Lucky we only needed to stay a few hours. Costumer service was nice.

This hotel canceled our reservation, after pulling the money; then necer let us know. We arrived and they had us pay again and we have still yet to be refunded the firet charge. The environment was very unsafe and unclean.

I check in the tv had been punched and wasn’t working I called the front desk Veronica the front desk person said she will try to find someone to fix it after 3 hrs still not replaced I went to front desk she said she couldn’t find anyone to replace it so I checked out and went to another hotel . She said she wouldn’t refund my money due to I was there for 3 hrs ? The room was dirty and there was crumbs all over the bed .. floors were dirty . Xpedia isn’t helping to get me my refund either .

Restful location
My stay at the Motel 6 in Gainesville is always pleasant after a hard work day. The stay is always professional and willing to accommodate the customer inquiries. The hotel is definitely my hotel of choice.

Disgusting. Slept in the truck instead of the gross beds. Couldn’t pay me to stay there again. Flys in the room. Stained beds. I guess this place is okay if you smoke crack

Property is not being taken care of(looks very run down). On one side are the rooms for people just passing through, other side are those who live there permanently. Then there's an area for those who just need an hourly rate. I would not recommend staying here. Pay a few more $ and go elsewhere. The rooms were dirty and so were the towels/wash clothes. I'm sure they had been washed but definitely didn't look it, some even had holes in them.
