Recognizing that this is not a four or five star property, but a well utilized, near beachfront motel with some age on it, we had an excellent stay! We needed to get our toes in the sand so we purchased one night, at a very reasonable rate, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff was very friendly, and though the rooms have some age on them, it was clean and comfortable. I might not stay here more than a couple nights, simply because there's no kitchen, but a very enjoyable stay for a night or two for us. We will be back! Ps- My only complaint was the air conditioner could not keep up with how hot it was outside, so it was quite warm in the room (but I brought a small fan to help with that). The bathroom could use some new grout, but it was clear that they keep it clean despite the sea salt and sand.

Excellent place to stay for visiting Emerald Isle. Beach is just a few minute away and there are a few good options for food. My only complain was that the beds weren't comfortable to sleep on. Other than that, this is an excellent spot.

The shower had a hard time draining, the air conditioner only worked around half the time, and the ice machine outside you had to pay for but was out of ice and did not give a refund. Besides that, the staff and location were amazing! We were greeting with smiles and calling our family by name! The room clean and the beds were very comfortable. We will definitely be returning in the future!

We stay here every time we go to EI .. Checking in is easy and staff is do friendly and knowledgeable about the area places to go things to do places to eat! Our room was very clean and the shower power was awesome! Very short walk to the pier and the ocean! Our favorite place to stay when we’re at Emerald Isle!

Awesome as always. From the front desk checkin till checkout nothing but a welcoming feeling. Now don’t come here looking for something that isn’t there as this is an older motel but what you will get every time is a clean comfortable room and a family like welcome.

Great staff, good location for my family since my brother and his wife have property within a 2 minute walk from our room. The Bogue Inlet pier is only a couple of hundred yards away. The only improvements I would recommend would be towels. There were 4 adults staying in the room and only 2 towels initially available. There was no problem getting extra towels but it would have been convenient to have them in the room when we arrived. One minor thing was the door knob to the bathroom was loose but was still lockable. Had a great weekend.
