5mins walk away from Sharf DG station, 10mins walk to Mall of Emirates and can take public transportation to most of the tourist attractions: Burj Khalifa, Sailing boat hotel, public beach in half an hour The room is so huge as well as the shower room. Both are clean and tidy. I booked the full board package which includes three meals and the room. The meals are so tasty and freshly cooked though the choices are limited. The hotel staff are very friendly and polite. They are caring and pay attention to the needs of each customer. They will call to your room when your tour has arrived. There is a travel desk which is a travel agency indeed that you can buy on the spot but usually it’s cheaper on other applications. Just one minor point: A Pakistan cleaner asked for tip after cleaning my room and he rang my door bell too many times which is a bit annoying. Besides, some mainland Chinese tour group also picked this hotel so they speak quite loud at the dining room.

酒店內部及大堂雖不大，但房內夠大及裝飾不俗，設備齊全，浴室也有浴缸，房內有落地玻璃街景。附近有些食市，位置在RTA捷運繁忙地段附近，不用乘坐太多車站。

Hotel served its purpose for us. We only stayed two nights. Didn’t get to use the pool. Tried the fisherman’s restaurant and room service. It was ok. Convenient to have a coffee shop on site.

It’s for budget travelers, so don’t expect the hotel to be like the near by Kempinski or Sheraton. Staff is always courteous and willing to assist, but the dreadful check in (took so long that I still have nightmare) needs be addressed, otherwise I will not revisit even if it is for free

Wonderful, convenient hotel in Dubai
Nice, clean hotel. Huge rooms with balcony with nice bathroom. The people at the front desk were very kind. Easy to go around Dubai. Ten minutes walk to the train stations, Malls, Museum of the Future, and more. It is a safe area with a lot of small shopping and restaurants. Tranquil room. Nice pool to chill out. Starbucks in the lobby area.

Terrible
There was very loud bar which kept shaking my room due to beat and loud music. Informed reception and they said last night was weekend and there wouldn’t be any more noise tonight but every single night was same and couldn’t sleep. Due to restless nights and not able to sleep, I ended up in hospital where I was given relaxation injection. Absolute terrible

Very bad experience
One month before my arrival, I sent only 1 request: "Please give me a high floor" (because I read through some other reviews that they were having renovations and it can quite noisy at the lower floors) Upon my check-in, they gave me the first floor. :( I asked again to provide me a higher floor. They said they will do it the next day but never did.. even after 5 days.

Ayant passer ces 10 derniers jours dans cet hotel, le seul point positif que je peux citer est sa localisation, l’accueil est plus que froid , c’est limite si on vous regarde de haut en bas, les chambres sont moyennement propre (voir photo) et cerise sur le gâteau l’hotel à une sorte de boite de nuit à l’intérieur chose qui n’est indiqué nul part et le bruit qui montait jusqu’au 3eme etage toutes les nuits… un conseil n’y aller pas si vous voulez du repos. Le personnel de la piscine et les gens dans le hall d’entrée par contre rien à dire, très souriant et gentil. Je ne reviendrais pas dans cet Hotel !

Regret booking this hotel, it’s no where near a 4 star hotel. Rooms are out dated and old, balcony is locked and can’t be opened. You can hear traffic noises all day and night. I was woken up early everyday because they start playing LOUD jazz music in the hallway speakers at 6:30am every morning. Construction happening in the building so you hear loud drilling and hammering noises all day. Definitely do not recommend and regret picking this hotel.

Overall hotel is ok to stay 1 night, cheap hotel, but i was really disappointed that they charged additionally 200 aed deposit (on top of a 1 night stay cost of 190), first they said that it will not be charged, only hold and then immediately released after checkout. But, when checking out next day - i realized that it was a charge and the refund in 7 days min as per receptionist answer...

It is difficult to get your luggage as there is a steep ramp and many bellman but nobody offered assistance. 5 bellman all starring at me. No assistance. The only time they asked me was the day I was leaving when I carried heavy luggage to the street. They then asked me if I needed it lifted into a taxi- no. Elevators- very slow only two operational Front desk -friendly only when I checked out. I asked for the deposit to be released and they truly didn’t know what I was talking about. They hold a 300AED deposit. Pool- great. Peaceful. Room-spacious. Only one towel. That’s it. No soap or anything I’ve been travelling to DXB since 2005 and this was the worst experience.

Nachtelijk erg luide muziek met zware bas tot rond 3u 's morgens vanuit de Oro lounge en de Hungry Monkey pub op het gelijkvloers van het hotel, waardoor we de slaap niet konden vatten. Zelfs na rapportering aan de receptie werd hier niks aan gedaan ... De receptioniste excuseerde zich voor het ongemak, en legde uit dat dit elk WE het geval was (vrijdag en zaterdag dus). Pech dus voor wie op het 1ste, 2de en 3de verdiep slaapt. Wie hoger slaapt, heeft hiervan misschien minder last.

A clean, convenient. spacious, comfy room.
I stayed in the junior suite and it was really large and comfortable. Great location, good restaurants near by and so close to the mall. Was really happy with the place and would definitely stay there again. I didn't use the pool or go upstairs so can't comment on that. But the room was good for a reasonable price.

Kiváló hotel. Ár érték aránya is elég jó. Egy nagyon picit drága, de még elfogadható. A szobák nagyon nagyok. Nagyobb, mint elég :) A szobák nagyon tiszták, és a fürdőszoba is. A szobában van klíma természetesen, és van hűtő is. Recepción kedvesek, segítőkészek és a személyzet is. Van medence a tetőn, konditerem is. A szálloda fekvése elsőosztályú. Kb 3 percre van a metró megállótól, nagyon könnyű közlekedni. 100 méterre van egy supermarket is. Kiváló hotel.

65 minutes of our lives lost in the foyer!
I dont know what happens when we book to stay here, but they can never find our reservation. 38 minutes to check in is not what i wanted after a 3 hour drive to get to Dubai. Our room was spacious enough but the carpet was dirty and seen better days. The shower, when opening the door, had a pungent smell coming from the drain. The toilet roll was soaking from the leaking spray hose (which was fixed within 10 minutes of reporting it). We have had numerous stays at the Donatello that have been awesome. This stay however was to say the least, a little disappointing. As you can see from our previous reviews, we dont complain about trivial things, but felt the need to highlight the check in / check out procedure. 38 minutes to check in, 27 minutes to check out??? They said they had to check the room before they could check us out.

Good sized room. Extremely slow check in - finally got into our rooms 2 hours after original check in. Staff slow for the rest of our stay however always polite

Very friendly staff in the reception. Jerome helped me by calling a nearby shop to see if they had what I needed. And very good food!
