Terrible! I stayed two nights - one on each end of a 4 day hiking trip. My first day, I messaged the hotel to request a shuttle. I was advised of the cost, provided my flight info and upon my arrival in Cusco, no shuttle!!! When I returned from my hiking tour, I was looking forward to some creature comforts after camping three nights. Got to the hotel, the clerk did not know where my luggage was. She also asked if I had my confirmation because she had NO INTERNET so she couldn't look up my name. There continued to be no internet until late morning the next day. Also, NO HEAT. again, camping in the mountains, I looked forward to being warm! I had a small space heater to heat the room.which had high ceilings. Not a great experience at all! Very frustrating and not worth it at all!

Centrally located
This hotel is all about the location. It is right in the plaza which is the main attraction of town. Service: Super excellent, friendly, and on point. They helped us with ordering a nurse for a Covid test at the property. They also helped us with a late checkout request for a reasonable price. The property had plenty of hot water, a nice breakfast, and English speaking clerks.

This was my second stay at this Hotel. The property is located right in the Plaza de Armas. Right where you want to be. The staff's priority is to make your stay in Cuzco as pleasant as possible. I couldn't had ask for more. From the Angela to Alex, they all have my priorities as their own. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, mate de coca is always available, and breakfast was included. They all go out of their way to ensure you enjoy Cuzco.

Property is located right on the center, exactly where you want to be. I've stayed at this hotel more than once. The staff's number one mission is to make your stay as perfect as possible. The have served me as tourist's guide and advisors. I couldn't ask for more. From the Angela to Alex, they all have my priorities as their own. Rooms are always clean and breakfast was included. The all go out of their way to ensure you enjoy Cuzco.

Good:In the center of old town, good breakfast, Great front desk from Diego Bad: we made a reservation in Loretto boutique but they send us the Yabar hotel. Horrible noise walking on the hardwood floor, the room stinks like sewer ( room 209 ) Very cold and dar k room no heating. TV - only several Spanish channels and one Arabic.

The front staff was amazing, the guy that is a manager I believe was SO awesome. Clean rooms, very helpful. Location was perfect to get to everything we needed to. they stored our luggage safely for 4 days! Would stay again!

Fantastic location, friendly people.
Amazing Location. Starbucks next door too. When we arrived Cusco festival was going on, so there were celebrations, marches etc. in the square just outside, everyday. Only negative was that the roads were closed for this reason, and our van had to be a bit further away and luggage had to be carried in and out. But fantastic anyway.

Triple room
Triple room was large and great for three friends. The free breakfast buffet each morning was delicious. Staff were friendly and allowed us to store our bags for three additional nights while we did the Salkantay trek. The room did get a little cold at night and the heater was inadequate, but they provided tons of extra blankets already in the room so you never went to sleep cold. The shower pressure was iffy at times and it took some time to generate hot water. Overall, great experience.

The property is located right by Plaza de Armas in Cusco. Perfect place to walk around after all your tours. The Staff was amazing and very helpful. They take the time to help us out with a missing luggage due to the airline. Next time i visit Cusco We will stay here again.

You are right there in the thick of it in a good sense about it! It’s the heart of central Cusco with so many activities as you step out and those amazing blue wooden doors transplants you to that old world- the towels were the thickest softest best!

Hotel was quaint and in a very good location. Our room faced the lobby courtyard and was loud at night due to activities in the main square. WiFi signal in the room was very bad, most of the time we could not connect, which was frustrating. Breakfast was included and was very good. Hotel staff was helpful.

Great location, the rooms have old flooring which squeaks a lot, if you're a light sleeper there are lots of noise coming in specially from adjacent rooms, other than that staff is very nice and helpful, good breakfast included

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Loreto in late October of 2018. Our room was so incredibly bad, outdated, loud, and dirty that we only stayed one night of our four-night reservation even though they have a strict NO REFUNDS POLICY. One piece of information the website does not give you is that the hotel shares a courtyard with a hostel and a Starbucks, which are both located above the hotel. The constant stream of people coming and going all hours of the day and night made it impossible to sleep. The front door to our hotel room (which faces the courtyard) had a CRACK in it that ran almost from top to bottom. The crack in the door was big enough that a person could look through it and into our room. The room itself is very OUT DATED (by decades) and there were COBWEBS hanging from the ceiling. The bed was very UNCOMFORTABLE and the shower curtain had MOLD on it. There was a window in the shower that was painted shut and we had no idea what was on the other side. At around 10 pm a light turned on, on the other side of the window, casting an EERIE GLOW into our room. Again, making sleep difficult. At six am we learned the room on the other side of our shower window was the breakfast area when we woke to the sound of clinging dishes and loud conversation. When we raised these concerns to the hotel staff, they informed us of their NO REFUNDS POLICY with a knowing smile, no offer of a different room. Great location but can be noisy at times
I was surprised to find that this hotel is actually in two separate sections — one closer to Plaza de Armas by the sign for the hotel and another (which I was staying in) a little further down Loreto passage. They are apparently separated by an original Inca wall and thus cannot me connected. There was no Loreto hotel branding in the part I stayed in —it was Yabar hotels instead. This was a little disconcerting but my stay was fine. My room was large and despite its central location didn’t have too much external noise. However, the courtyard style set up (with staff and other guests talking early in the morning, as well as arriving late at night creating noise) and hardwood floors (I was on the ground floors and so whenever anyone upstairs got up — quite often given that a lot of people have early starts for excursions — I woke up) meant I didn’t sleep well despite wearing ear plugs. My room was clean and the bed comfortable, although the decor could have used an update. The staff were helpful although sometimes a little disorganised — it took three attempts to get a Sacred Valley tour booked, for example, which should not be that hard in a town like Cusco. Overall, it was a pleasant and well-located place to stay but if you’re a light sleeper, you may need to take precautions.

We liked everything. The service was great. The people were very helpful. The location is amazing, you can’t beat the location, plaza de armas is across the street and you have Starbucks upstairs and all the stores and restaurants around the corner. The most important was the cleanlyness of the hotel. Angela was great!!!!!

Perfect location! Right in Plaza De Armas and anything nearby. Check in was so easy. They were able to accommodate an extra person at the last minute. Clean room and clean towels every day. So friendly and nice to us. I couldn’t have picked a better hotel for our stay. It was perfect!

This hotel actually using another name. Ya bar Hotel. The location is very very good. Very clean and really enjoy our time here. The breakfast also very good. The only one problem I had was my room was on 1st floor, so when other guests talking, any loud noise, I can hear very clearly.

Plaza de armas hotel with air conditioned rooms
Had some issues at check in since reservation somehow only showed 2 adults but we also had our 4 yr old with us, so we had to pay extra for him, which is ok, except that front desk wouldn’t accept credit card payment, only cash. After some back and forth, he checked with his manager and they finally agreed to charge our card, but with an additional 8% overcharge. Other than that, hotel is great. Location can’t be beat, nice bathroom with bathtub and satellite tv, plus air conditioner in the room. You can’t flush toilet paper however, which is quite inconvenient, and needs to be disposed of in a garbage bin instead. Breakfast in the morning had all the basics, including eggs cooked to order. One more glitch, the street where the hotel is is closed to cars, so your taxi or driver will need to park in some nearby street.

Stayed here for cheap prior to and after our Inca trail hike. Room was comfort able, bathroom was clean and nice for a shower after our dirty hike however I could ask for a little more water pressure. Left our bags safe and sound in the hotel during the hike. Location was the best! Close to everything interesting. Caution: my friend got sick in Cusco (I did not) during our stay and the only thing we could think he had was the milk for his morning coffee... just saying. The staff however were quick to get a doctor to the hotel room, I bought antibiotics at a local clinic and he was hiking the next day. Over all I’d stay there again.

Great place to stay!
Great location near the Plaza de Armas. Safe area with lots of shopping, and restaurants. Staff were super helpful, as we had to store our bags at the hotel a couple of times...they were very accommodating to make sure that everything went well for us.

Best Hotel in Cusco
Cusco is beautiful. It is far from Machu Picchu (3hrs car + 2 hrs trai + 30mins bus) but it is the closest airport and there is plenty to see in town and outside town. There are many restaurants. This hotel is on the main plaza. In the same block as Starbucks. Room was very high quality and comfortable and it included a wall that appears to be of authentic Inca origin. I hope to go to Cusco again and I will definitely stay at this hotel.

The website description is deceiving as it says each room will have some old Inc. in wall as part of the Decour. This was not the case. So we were a little disappointed initially. Overall the place is nice, clean and a great location. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Right on the Plaza de Armas!
The location of this place was awesome! Right on the Plaza de Armas! So convenient to all the walking we did. Easy to drop off purchases and get right back to the shopping! Our room was the first one and closest to the front desk. This made it a little noisy, that said, I will stay here next time I am in Cuzco!

Convenient location and great staff
The hotel was clean and convenient. Staff were friendly and offered assistance with transportation. Being close to the Plaza was great but sometimes noisy from outside passerbys.
