We chose this hotel because it was pet friendly. We wanted a quick weekend getaway. The location is good, right on the boardwalk. The rooms are nicely updated but the layout is a bit odd. We booked a room with two double beds but only one of the beds could see the TV. The bathroom is very small and awkward. The sink is so close to the toilet you can barely squeeze your hand in between to flush. The door basically bumps up to the toilet. If your larger than average size it will be very awkward. They do charge a fee for pets and a fee for parking which is. It made clear when booking thru a travel site. The lobby is updated but there is a very off putting odor, which thankfully was not in the room. It was just OK. Don’t know that I would stay there again or really recommend to family or friends.

Rooms lack essentials like box of tissues, iron, and plugs to charge your phones. Our sheets were dirty with red stains. Second room had stains too . No housekeeping around so I had to change my own sheets. Mattress cover underneath was all stained up as well.

Great for a quick trip
Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean. If you making a quick trip this is a good Choice however….we were there for 5 days. No coffee, only one drawer in a room for 5 people. I asked for aground floor room, as I was traveling with mature ladies and still ended up having to go up what felt like 567 stairs. We were there in Nov and they had ONE paper thin blanket in the bed and when we asked for more, they gave us another paper thin blanket.

The location of the hotel, price and cleanliness were great. However, the room was all the way in the back tucked behind a wall. The only thing we were able to see was a gray wall in front of our window. The lights were on all night on a timer outside our room. It was also very noisy. We heard everything from music, to laundry to other people using their bathrooms. We both slept horrible and unfortunately, will not be back.

There was a $15 per night charge to park. It WAS on the hotel website but i did not see it on the Hotels.com site. It advertised pet friendly but there was a $75 non refundable fee for having a pet with you. Again, listed on the hotels website but i did not see it on hotels.com. Both of these i will take responsibility for since I did not check either the fine print or I may have missed noticing. However, there was no hot water. Sink, tub, or shower dit not have hot water. I ran the water for 20 minutes, took a shower, wife showered, and still no hot water. It was slightly cooler than room temperature. Not my idea of a pleasant experience. I wont go back.

Off Season Visit
We weren't aware that the parking cost an extra $15. We are older, so the long walk to the room was somewhat difficult. There were only very thin covers on the bed and we couldn't regulate the heat, so we were quite cold because it was no longer summer. The staff was pleasant and accommodating, and the room was clean.

orlinda c Hotel Cabana is the place to stay! Review of Hotel Cabana Oceanfront/Boardwalk Reviewed 2 days ago Hotel Cabana is one of the cleanest, most comfortable and quietest hotels we have stayed in. The rooms are very spacious and the bed is extremely comfortable. The staff is friendly, helpful and courteous. Restaurants are within walking distance and the boardwalk is clean and safe to stroll. We are impressed with the modern rooms and delighted with the proximity to Cape May and the Garden State Parkway. We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and will definitely return this summer. Date of stay: November 2023 Trip type: Traveled as a couple

The rooms and hotel interior desgn is very pleasent. The beds are comfortable. The patio over looking the beach is beautiful. I love that they allow dogs at a reasonable fee. I will visit again, and again.

Overall the property was clean, modern, and in a good location, and front desk staff was helpful upon checkin so I’m giving 2 stars, but I wouldn’t stay here again. We booked our room 3 months ago with a king bed, the room we were given was listed as a king in their system but the bed was a full sized. We asked to move to a king room but they said they were all booked, so they gave us a room with 2 queens which was appreciated, but still not what we booked. The shower was also a downgrade as the first room had an upgraded walk-in shower and the second room had an old tub shower. I’m not sure how they were all full, the place was a ghost town. On day 3, we came back at the end of the day and our door was left WIDE OPEN by housekeeping for hours. We left the hotel at 6am and didn’t come back until 5pm to find our door wide open (the doors don’t automatically close, you have to pull them shut). Luckily nothing was stolen, but totally unacceptable.

The hotel was in a great location to the boardwalk and had ample parking and was clean. We upgraded our room to ocean front and paid an expensive price for the off-season for the upgrade. There was several of these rooms vacant. Then found out after we moved rooms that there was an event being hosted right outside of our rooms which no one told us about when we checked in. No one hosting this event had the oceanfront rooms where the even was being held. The guests were partying until 230 am creating a noise disturbance for the 3 rooms that were occupied in the oceanfront area. I called the front desk to complain and no one answered. So apparently if you want to host a large event for free at this hotel on the patio near the oceanfront rooms, you can do so even if you don’t have the expensive rooms! And you can party all night and no one will bother you. It was a wedding reception being hosted. The staff should have disclosed this and they did not. They also didn’t tell them to be quiet after a certain hour or limit the amount of guests they could have. Very upsetting! When we mentioned it at checkout they seemed to not care. Will not stay here again! I got no sleep and it was way overpriced for the off-season. There are better options. Also the linens were thin and terrible!

My family was impressed with the cleanliness of the entire property! The room was excellent, as the bunk beds / queen bed were perfect for a family of four. The cabana area overlooking the Seaport Pier was a great place to relax with our friends, and the staff was courteous. Would definitely return!

Noticed on my credit card statement $15 dollars every day of stay. I called hotel and complained about the charge they told me it was for parking at the hotel! I was not informed of this at check in and I am refusing to pay this. Never heard of anything like this when staying at a place! Bad business! They told me to call Expedia I tot them no you charged me not Expedia!

Did not like that they charged you for parking per day and even after you paid you were told if you left your parking spot you may not have one when you come back. When I stay at a hotel I expect to have a parking spot especially if you are charging me a fee for it ever day . I have stayed at many places in Wildwood and have never had to pay for my spot at the hotel and always had one available if I left .

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The rooms were nice. There was a fridge,microwave and sink with dishes. There is a great deck overlooking the boardwalk and beach. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Got my steps in.
This hotel location is great...right on the Boardwalk. Our only problem was that the hotel is elevated to protect against flooding, but no elevators, so we had to walk up two flights of stairs to get to our room.

It was pretty good. Comparing to the room next to us, no complains. Our air conditioner stop working and they fixed it immediately. Room next to us, did have a very poorly bathroom design. Our bathroom was ok. It depends what room you will get.
