The staff were lovely and helpful. Room looked a bit dated, but it was very clean and the bed very comfortable to sleep in. Only problem i would say is that there were no tea/coffee in the room. But it was available from the front desk. Breakfast was lovely too. Lots of places close by to eat, with easy access to the U to get into centre when going out sightseeing. Overall, i had a lovely time and would definately stay there again.

What did I like best? The friendly and helpful staff! Then it's a good choice: clean rooms, a nice breakfast buffet, easy check-in. On the other hand, to my taste, the room temperature was too high. And the location is not exactly in the city center, although it's quite close to a subway station (U-Bahn Residenzstrasse).

The stuff working by the desk root. The hotel uses the title Airport Tegel but is not located near that airport and they don’ have shuttles to get to that airport. There nothing on the website about that. I do not recommend this hotel

Nice, but not modern
The staff was very helpful and the room was clean. Also, there is very a convenient bar in the hotel. The only downsides are that the rooms are outdated, and it is not close to Tegel. Also, No German style pillows. For me, that was a plus.

Everything about this property is fine, but there is no shuttle service to the airport. This should be clearly indicated in the description, or the hotel shouldn't be called "Airport Tegel".

Location and service worked for me, lots of smoke, especially in the bathroom in a non smoking room. On hot days the bed was like a heating pad. Air conditioning would have helped.

Good wifi Good breakfast In a residential neighborhood with lots of trees Name is misleading -- it is nowhere near the airport and taxi cost as much as taxi into city center. Desk clerk said it is the closest IBIS to the airport! No A/C but the fan I was given worked well.

An airport hotel which is not close to the airport
When we booked the hotel, we thought it was an airport hotel because of its name, but it’s quite a ride in taxi from the airport. The room was comfortable enough although quite basic with no frills. The check in staff was not rude but indifferent. It was ok for an overnight stay but don’t expect any extra or luxury.

Ok if you’re desperate!
Hotel room was too hot couldn’t control the temperature and the noise from outside was not acceptable. I only stayed there as I needed parking for a high vehicle there are a number of better hotels for the same money in Berlin.

Very helpful front desk (boarding passes, where to eat, early morning cab) Only problem is that it is not adjacnt to Tegel in any realistic sense. Maybe "near" Tegel would be a better description. Otherwise, no problems.

Short stay
We only stayed overnight to catch a flight in the afternoon next day. We arrived around 11pm and the checkin was quick and easy. Our room was comfortable and the toilet, although small has a very good shower. There is a pub in front of the hotel and some Italian restaurants and kebab shops. No shuttle service to Tegel airport but a taxi is around 20 Euros.

Close to the airport but not that far out of town
The hotel was a welcome respite after being on a delayed train for 8 hours. I was only there overnight, but the bed was supremely comfortable, the hotel staff were helpful, and I had an easy time catching my flight early the next day.

An airport hotel that is not "close" to airport.
Claiming itself an "airport hotel" is misleading. Even distance wise is closer to TXL, it still took 30 minutes to get to the airport by bus or roughly 20 Euro by taxi. With a little extra(10-20%) time or taxi fare, I could have stayed in any other hotels in downtown with a comparable hotel price and with much better facilities and surroundings and yet, I didn't have to make this extra trip to move to this hotel a day before my flight. I tried to make a change/swap to stay in IBIS Berlin Messe to save a trip to travel to this hotel, but was rejected as they claimed I already paid the hotel. This is totally not acceptable from a customer's view, after an 5-hour bus ride from Prague and got off at ZOB where IBIS Messe is located. Even if you need to catch an early flight and willing to pay 10~20% extra taxi fare, I would suggest to stay in any other hotels in downtown and enjoy your last night in Berlin rather than moving to this hotel to catch your flight at TXL.

Not near airpirt and dirty
Awful. It took me two busses to get there and a 26 euro taxi ride to return to the airport. The staff were not helpful (internet wasn't working in my room), and the common areas, in particular, were very dirty and drab. I can see no reason to stay here. I would have preferred to lie across chairs in the airport for my overnight layover. It was expensive too ($200 with taxes). Expedia should not have this hotel on their site.

This hotel is advertised as being at the airport, which is not true. It's actually 20 to 30 minutes away by cab and 45minutes by bus. The cab cost doubles the room cost, very upseting!!!

It's far from tegel airport
It's clean but smell but and it doesn't have all facilities for example the electrical outlets are so far from table and bad. And the worst thing after you made the reservation I you want to cancel you have to paid 90% of the total. And the last day to cancel in my case was time before I made my booking. That's nuts.

An okay hotel
The stay was fine, not as close to the airport as expected. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude but the cleaning service lady was extremely nice. There is a direct train to the center of the city which is quite helpful since there isnt much in the neighborhood. Its one of those hotels that has one all purpose soaps in the shower (ie no separate shampoo, conditioner, body soap).

Good for a night near the airport
Comfy, clean and basic accommodation located close enough to the airport that you can get a comfortable night in a bed instead of trying to camp out in the airport before a red eye flight.

A comfortable hotel
The hotel needs proper aircoditioning. Tea/coffee facilities and a refrigerator would be a nice addition. The room was lacking in extra pillows and proper doonas.

Good value for money
For an overnight stay to rest between long flights, I found this hotel to be relatively comfortable for the reasonable price charged. The staff were all very friendly at reception and willing to assist in any way they could.

Decent hotel close to airport
Overall decent hotel and nothing more or less. The hotel was convenient for us as a family as we had a very early flight out of Berlin Tegel airport and only needed an affordable bed to sleep in close to the airport. We missed the opportunity of having a family room though.
