Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find no shower gel provided in the room. Despite raising the issue with reception on four separate occasions throughout the stay, the staff were persistently unresponsive and demonstrated a concerning lack of understanding regarding basic guest needs. Requests for shower gel were repeatedly met with shampoo products, despite clear explanations and clarifications. On the final day, a staff member brought an assortment of mini toiletries to the room—again, predominantly shampoo—leaving us to manually search for a suitable item myself. There was no apology, nor any acknowledgement of the inconvenience caused.
Additionally, the hotel permitted extremely loud music to play until 2:00 a.m. on our first night, which rendered sleep after a long day of travel virtually impossible. This level of noise disruption is entirely unacceptable in a hospitality setting.
Overall, the experience was marred by poor communication, inadequate guest service, and a disregard for basic comfort standards. Such a shame as the hotel has so much potential, but please do everyone a favour and fire your staff and hire a new team.
