We booked a room for three adults, my parents and I. The price for an extra adult is different from a child. Therefore, I expected the extra bed would be at least a standard single size bed for adults as shown on the confirmation email. I called the hotel to confirm the size of the bed added and they said it would be a large single bed. However, after checking in, we realized the bed was a child size. I am only 160cm and my legs were sticking outside of the bed.
We reported this to the front desk and they said neither do they have a bigger size bed nor an extra room for change. Besides, they couldn't make any changes without the supervisor there and she would only show up the next day after 10a.m. I didn't sleep for the whole night because of the awkward bed.
The next day, I saw the supervisor and she offered me two solutions: 1. They will change my kid bed to a proper single bed. 2. I need to pay another 1000thb pernight for a room upgrade. I chose to pay 5000thb for my remaining staying. Because I didn't want to risk for another sleepless night.
