Not at the old town but convenient with 20 min walk or 2 tram stops. Simple hotel. Generally comfortable. Good price but nothing around. No food choice.

Good value and quiet.
The big bonus was that it is very close to the #4 tramline which goes to the airport. The room and shower were fine, the bed very comfortable, and the breakfast was better than I expected. The girl on reception didn't look as though she was enjoying her work much, but this didn't detract much from the over-all good impression.

This hotel is not located in the city center, however, with Tallinn being so walkable, it's possible to walk anywhere, though it may take some time. Free parking was also a plus and so was the breakfast with decent choices. It's good place to stay, despite its age that shows, but price makes up for it.

Good budget hotel in a quiet residential area of the city yet only 10-15 minutes walk to the beautiful old town. The airport tram(no4) drops you 5 minutes from the hotel and both the train station and the Kristine shopping center are less than 10 minutes away on foot. My room was quiet, clean, functional and warm. The buffet breakfast was good and reflected local tastes. Plan to be back in Tallinn soon and this hotel will be the first place I look at because of it's location and excellent value for money. Although its seclusion will not appeal to everyone, the bars and restaurants in the city center are only a short cheap tram/bus ride away.

Reasonable place
The hotel was nice for the price. The room was well sized for one person. Two would have been fine. Even with the window open I was warm but it's nearly summer. The door had a strange lock but the staff showed me how it worked. It's an easy walk into old town and to the ferry terminal. The area around the hotel is fine.

Good value for the money
This hotel is good value for the money, for sure. The rooms are very basic, and the breakfasts are pretty OK, so I was more than happy with it. You basically get what you pay for. If you are expecting first class comfort with first class service and right in the center then this is not your place. Still, it was a nice place to hang out and relax, for sure.

Be prepared to make the bed yourself
We had known that the hotel is basic before our stay but there were two unpleasant details that made our stay worse. First of all, strange smell in the lobby area and in the room. Second, when we came back from the centre and wanted to go to bed, it turned out that we need to put beddings on our duvets ourselves. I think it's unacceptable for a hotel. Also the beddings sizes didn't suit the duvets sizes, same situation with the bedsheets, so our sleep wasn't very comfortable. I am aware that one shouldn't expect a five star service for this price, but this was too much. Other than that, the staff was ok, breakfast quite poor and location within walking distance to the centre (though the way back was a bit dodgy at night). To be honest - one of the worst hotels I've stayed at.

Good breakfast and service, but there was construction noise in July 2015. The hotel is not really accessible to anything the city, except maybe a soccer game if you want to go.

Next to the hotel, the construction site made terrible noise. The room was relatively large and clean, in the bathroom the cleanleness was worse. Breakfast buffet was limited but fresh. Price was really low and corresponding to the quality.

Great bargain gem in Tallinn!
This is a nice hotel for travelers more interested in exploring the city than lounging in a hotel room. The hotel is clean and the staff is very nice. The rooms are a bit sparse, but for the price it's a great place. The neighborhood is quiet and residential. There's a small market about 4 blocks away. The breakfast is standard Northern European; toast, porridge, coffee, sausages. I took a cab to the Old City center and it only cost EU$4.00. The staff speak very good English and were able to direct me to the market and call me a cab. The rooms are quiet and the wifi works well. The shower is large and has great water pressure. I would certainly stay here again.

Reasonable for the price
The hotel was reasonable. The personnel were really nice and friendly. They speak English and Russian. The only concern was you could feel some smell in the room (cigarettes???) and it would have been difficult to survive without opening the windows - and it was rather noisy outside, really loud seabirds and some other disturbing noises. The breakfast could be better. It took us about 20 minutes to get to the city centre. On the whole: OK for the price - 49 euros for a room with three beds.

Only stayed two nights on separate occasions.
Whilst the Lillekula Hotel isn't in the main city area, it is just a short bus ride away or a longish walk. If you are at the Autobussijaam (bus station) it's the number 23 bus and you would need to get off at the Koidu stop. The rooms were clean and tidy, the on suite was also clean and fairly new. Although I was staying on the top floor, the hotel staff furnished me with the 3 Wifi codes for the 3 floors to ensure I got a good signal. It was also a very quiet hotel, even though there were quite a lot of people there. But if you are on a stag/hen night, you might want to look else where. The breakfast which was included was good, normal continental ie boiled eggs, bread, sausages etc.

It was great for the price you pay. Building is probably from the soviet times, but inside all the basic and modern necessities are available and upgraded to a decent level. Staff speaks English, not perfect but good enough to explain and to give an advice. Breakfast was delicious and had variety of food to choose from. Rooms have nice comfortable and clean beds. Rooms overall are clean and good for quite night stay. Neighbourhood is very quiet, so its very good place for resting. Taxi is only 4-5 euros from hotel to the harbour, or 2-3 euros to downtown. Ask reception to order it for you, and they'll get the cheapest taxi, they are very good with ordering it. Or you can walk about 20 minutes to downtown. There is also very good and cheap barbershop at Luha 40, where I got professional haircut for just 7 euros! So I liked my stay, would come there again. I would recommend this place for peaceful stays.

Hotel needs to improve
The hotel was too far away from the centre of Tallinn though i knew about this.Think they should have tea and coffee in the rooms instead of having to pay for this even though when advertising the hotel they wrote it was in the lobby which it was not. Also the room was never cleaned daily just the litter bins and towels changed after three days. The staff were helpful in most cases. I do not think i would stay here again.

Lillekula - decent cheap place
Hotel is good for the cheap price. A bit of a trek to get to the main part of Tallinn when the tram is not running. Room smelled kind of funky. Nice included breakfast with hard boiled eggs and sausage links. Friendly staff. Wireless internet. Good for the price.

come in molti paesi ex sovietici, polonia, bosnia ecc, la pulizia camera viene effettuata ogni due giorni e non rifanno il letto, io ci sono abituato ma qualcuno potrebbe non apprezzare, non c'è ascensore e nulla di vagamente dolce nella colazione, cmq rapporto qualta' prezzo ottimo, silenzioso e tranquillo, ti aprono anche all 2 di notte... vicino il tram che in 2 fermate porta in centro e il 4 con 1 euro porta all aereoporto

Летом в Таллине
Хороший отель в спальном тихом районе города. До автовокзала минут 40 пешком или 7-8 остановок на трамвае. В самом номере есть шампуни, полотенца, губки для обуви. Зубных щеток, пасты не было. Wi-fi был хороший. Телевизор стоял, каналы ловились по-разному, мы выключили, нам в путешествиях телевизор меньше всего нужен). В отеле были туристы разных национальностей, недовольных мы не видели)). С утра нас ждал хороший завтрак, у нас был включен в стоимость. Мы ночевали одну ночь, нам было комфортно. Все понравилось, спасибо!
